Dr. David Bass

Dr. David Bass

Dr. David Bass is the inventor of the Antalgic-Trak®. He began the project in 2000 with the sole purpose of improving non-surgical spinal therapy. He is the Chairman and founding partner of the Robotic ATT.

Dr. Bass completed his Doctorate in 1978 and began his professional practice in 1979. In 2004 he retired from 25 years of private practice where he specialized in spine pain management. His clinic grew to become one of the largest “solo” practitioner clinics in the Northeast United States treating between 275 and 350 patients per week.

In addition to private practice, from 1995 through 2001, Dr. Bass expanded his practice into the area of multi-discipline. He was able to combine the expertise of medical physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists and physical therapists into a group practice model. Dr. Bass created, administered and managed more than 24 successful multi-discipline clinics throughout the New York State and Long Island.

In 1997, Dr. Bass completed a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture from the New Center College of Holistic Medicine. He had the distinct honor of graduating 2nd in his class and was further honored by receiving the “Award for Clinical Excellence.” This distinguished honor is awarded to one graduating student who demonstrates above average clinical patient treatment and protocols. Dr. Bass is a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician and received his board certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After graduating from the New Center College of Holistic Medicine, Dr. Bass became faculty at the New Center College for 2 years teaching acupuncture practice development, protocols, procedures, ethics and management.

During this time, and with his combined clinical experiences, Dr. Bass became acutely familiar with power traction and decompression therapy. In his opinion, these therapies were one-dimensional and overly limited in their capabilities. In 2000, Dr. Bass decided to evolve power-traction decompression into the state-of-the-art-therapy now known as the "articulating spinal decompression" of Antalgic-Trak®. "Professionals agree that Healthcare treatment is a constantly changing and challenging field. But through it all, the goals of superior and effective care must prevail." It was with this philosophy that Dr. Bass developed what we consider the finest articulating power traction decompression-mobilization instrument in the world. Working with a select group of engineers and health providers, Dr. Bass created a postural-positional decompression treatment technique they call Kinetic Decompression-Mobilization or (KDM). KDM can only be performed using the Antalgic-Trak®.

“I have always practiced using state-of-the-art equipment and believe that the quality of your equipment enables you to clinically grow and reach your true treating potential. Antalgic-Trak® offers you and your patients a superior therapeutic instrument with features found nowhere else. It provides the practitioner the unique opportunity to become clinically superior in the field of pain management and range of motion power-traction decompression therapy and sequential spinal elongation©.” Practitioners now have a way to deliver precise traction forces into the spine to remove pain and restore ROM.

Dr. Scott Denny

Dr. Scott Denny

Dr. Scott Denny is the co-developer of Antalgic-Trak and the Kinetic Decompression Mobilization technique. He completed his first Doctoral degree in 1984, and completed a Ph.D. program in Electro-Medical Science in 1994 and his Masters degree in acupuncture in 1998. He has extensive experience in electro-diagnostic and electro-therapeutic devices. Dr. Denny is a past president of the American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM), a past member of the Board of Directors, and a past member of the Board of Advisors of the AAPM. Dr. Denny is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA). Dr. Denny is a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician, having received his board certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Association of Integrated Medicine.

In addition to 29 years of clinical experience, Dr. Denny is past faculty and a founding trustee of the University of Integrated Studies. Dr. Denny’s clinic in New York was the first nationally accredited pain program of its kind and the first facility to receive Pain Program Accreditation from the AAPM’s Pain Program Accreditation Committee. For his work in this area he received a Clinical Research Fellow certificate from the Institute of Pain Management in recognition of his contribution to the National Pain Data Bank (NPDB).

Dr. Denny has observed the growth of spinal decompression in pain management over the last 20 years. "I’ve worked with doctors and therapists from all the professions. I’ve had the opportunity to study and experience the current decompression therapies available to all the professions. Even today, I see more and more products coming to the marketplace which are essentially identical. Many of these products are manufactured by the same company under different names. You can change the packaging, but a “cable-table” is still a “cable-table.” The Antalgic-Trak® is the first new evolutionary change that truly makes sense. It goes beyond traction decompression by completely changing the approach. It’s outside the box. It delivers range of motion techniques and power traction decompression with precision. After I analyzed it, I absolutely wanted to become a part of it. I accepted Dr. Bass’s invitation to become part of a company to support the next generation of non-surgical alternatives for the treatment of neck and back pain.

Deciding to specialize in spinal decompression is an important decision and commitment. Your "after purchase" support is critical to us. Evaluate all the manufacturers and the credentials of who make up a given company. Look past the hype and look at the substance of the equipment. Both Dr. Bass and Dr. Denny are always available to the Antalgic-Trak® clients for consulting on clinical, technical and practice issues long after the paid spokespeople of competitors are gone.
